Flat Stanley got to see one of the local sites of Nevada. Flat Stanley saw the site of Hoover Dam. The Hoover Dam is one of the power plants for the state of Nevada.

Arizona's Painted Desert

Betsy, Stan and Flat Stanley drove to New Mexico, Albuquerque to pick up the new puppy that Betsy and Stan bought. On the way to New Mexico a stop was made in Arizona to see the Painted Desert and the Petrified Forest.

Sights in California

Flat Stanley returned with Betsy and Stan to their house in Las Vegas. Flat Stanely then had a trip to San Francisco in California.

Flat Stanley visited Half Moon Bay in California. There were many fisherman crab traps on the docks in the small town.
